It was 1956 when four-year-old Scarlet and her two siblings, Andrew and Billie, were dropped off at an orphanage by their mother without any explanation. None of the three children had any clue what was coming in the next moments or years of their young lives. All they knew was that they were terrified, sad, and confused.
